The original title for this piece is "Lei In Pallore Cercò L'Aria Segreta", but Deviant Art doesn't allow me to use some of the italian letters; anyway, italian or english, it comes from a (english) verse of William Blake's "The Book Of Thel".

Hello dear and as you know I am from :iconbeaute-lamour: and I am here to provide you with the critique that you have requested. Thank you so much dear for waiting patiently and remember all critiques are subjective and I will try to be 100% honest and respectful.

So after taking my time to look at this piece I am still so impressed. I am still blown away by this artwork. Firstly, when I saw it I thought wow! I really liked the way you drew the subject. I thought that the features such as the limbs looked a little long and stretched but then as I analyzed it more I don't think so. I think that the proportions work so well for this piece. I love so many things about this artwork but let me take it one step at a time :D

I love the way it is drawn and the anatomical structure is done perfectly. I love your use of gesture in this artwork. Normally I see portraits and bust art pieces from you and they are more still than flowing, so this to me is different. I can see the gestures more and I can feel the rhythm and the flow of her body /pose and it is great. I am a fan of pieces that have a lot of flow to them and this is just lovely to see. I love the anatomy of the hands the the facial structure is just so detailed and very naturalistic.

Like your last piece I really adore the value and I love the way the light plays off of the subject. The lighting creates great natural form. The highlights really hit the central areas of the figure. I really love how you have used the lighting, in particular the highlights, to lead the viewers eyes along the piece.

The blending of colors is very well done. I feel that you achieved great balance between the background and the subject by using the same colors in both areas. This piece has a lovely harmony to it and I think the colors play a central role in achieving that harmony.

This art piece is very soft and delicate and I love the amount of emotion that is conveyed in her eyes. The eyes are soft but so intense and powerful, its hard to explain :D. They are so dark and almost hypnotic to look at. My favorite aspect of this piece is the way it was drawn and the lighting. I believe that her pose and the lighting really make this artwork just soooooo beautiful. I honestly cannot see anything that can be improved upon in my opinion because this piece is a true work of art. Well done!
