In this piece, I have tried to give form to my idea of "dreamlike state", of a person being absorbed in an otherwordly stillness, where she finds refuge.
Inspiration came from a poem by Dino Campana (italian symbolist/avanguardist poet, 1885 - 1932); in fact the title, which could be translated as "May Darkness Be Sweet" is actually a line from that poem as well ("May darkness be sweet/To the heart who does not love anymore").
